My Story
Art has always been part of my life — something deeply rooted in my family and heart.
My journey began in a family filled with creativity. My grandfather, a painter who loved capturing nature’s beauty, passed away before I could know him. Yet his spirit lived on through my sister, Morvarid, whose artistic talent first introduced me to the magic of painting. Stepping into her room felt like entering another world — one full of color, imagination, and inspiration.
From childhood, I was fascinated by creation. I often drew at family gatherings and made hand-painted postcards to gift during New Year celebrations. The joy of giving something personal — made with love and creativity — shaped my artistic path.
At 17, my sister began teaching me oil painting, opening a new chapter in my artistic education. When she left for Italy to continue her studies, I began exploring my own artistic direction, blending art with another passion: web design.
The Birth of Mona Gallery
While studying website design at university, the idea of creating an online art gallery came to life.
I wanted to bring together artists from different countries and offer their artworks to a worldwide audience. This vision led to the founding of Mona Art Online Gallery, a platform that connects artists and collectors, helping creative souls share and sell their work beyond borders.
Through Mona Gallery, I’ve had the privilege of meeting many talented artists from around the world — each bringing a unique voice to our collection.
A Journey of Learning and Growth
Believing that growth never stops, I pursued further studies in Fine Arts at McKenzie College in Canada. Before that, I attended figurative drawing classes, where I experienced the challenge and beauty of drawing live models for the first time — a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of form and expression.
In Canada, my professor, an inspiring Italian artist, guided me through pastel techniques, figure drawing, and portraiture. Later, I discovered a deep love for watercolor painting, a medium that continues to bring me serenity and joy to this day.
Looking Ahead
My dream is to one day establish a physical Mona Gallery — a real space where art lovers can gather, explore, and feel the essence of creativity in person. I envision a gallery filled with exquisite works from artists around the world — a place where imagination lives and art connects hearts.
Art with Purpose
Beyond creativity, I am passionate about using art to make a positive impact. I dedicate 5% of each artwork sale to support endangered animals — particularly turtles, elephants, and rhinos — as a small step toward protecting our shared planet.
